An Intimate Summer Wedding at Amber Bride -Sorg Villa

Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over — not just for their beauty, but for the atmosphere they create. Zsófi & Ákos’s wedding at Sorg Villa was one of those. Effortlessly stylish, deeply personal, and full of quiet emotion, it felt like a warm summer evening in the Italian countryside.

The celebration took place under string lights in the garden of The Amber Bride, surrounded by close friends and family. Every detail reflected a sense of understated elegance — curated but never overdone. Zsófi, a talented wedding photographer herself based in Berlin, has an incredible eye for beauty, so it was an honour to be chosen to document her day.

Their style was completely aligned with what I’m most drawn to: refined and relaxed, natural yet thoughtful. The floral design by Chetres was soft and romantic, perfectly echoing the garden’s atmosphere. Live music set the tone throughout the evening by Maya'n'Peti , and my husband guiding the day as their ceremony host.

One of the most touching moments happened before the ceremony, when Zsófi and Ákos shared their personal vows in private — just the two of them. No audience, no microphones — just real words, heartfelt and unfiltered.

It was a day that wasn’t trying to impress, but effortlessly did — simply by staying true to who they are.
